Electronic Payment Option Update

The electronic payment option I discussed last month has been approved. The next step is getting it set up and operational. I don’t know yet if it will be available for the December billing, but I would like everyone who is interested to send me an e-mail ( indicating that, along with the e-mail address you’d like me to send any updates to. I will then keep you posted on further updates, along with information updates in future newsletters.

Veterans Day Events

Veterans Lunch & Show at Prisco Community Center- Leaving at 11:45 am for a special veteran’s lunch Friday, Nov. 4th. It’s free for veterans, and $7 for all others. We’ll take everyone that wants to go. Please sign up as soon as possible.

Veterans Day Parade- We’re going to be in the city’s Veterans Day parade on Friday, Nov. 11th! We’re decorating the bus and taking all who want to join us. We’ll leave about 9:45 am and be back between 11 and noon. If the weather’s bad it will be a bus ride only. If it’s nice there is a “Honoring All Who Served” ceremony at 11 am at the GAR building, which we would attend. Be sure to sign up.

Friday Presentation – Walgreens

We’ll be having a pharmacist from the Lake St. Walgreens here on Friday, Nov. 18th  at 2 pm on the 4th Floor to discuss different health programs they can help you with, such as diabetes or hypertension. It’s also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your prescriptions, deliveries, or other related topics. Don’t miss this chance to be more informed about your health.

Thanksgiving Week Schedule

I want to remind everyone that the office will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week. The Courtesy Car will be available that Friday from 8 am until 1 pm. Also, Bonnie will be working in the Beauty Shop on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd. While gift certificates are available any time of the year from Bonnie, this is a particularly great time to purchase them.
