“Got the Dot?”
Because it could save your life!

The Illinois Department of Transportation, Public Health and Aging have teamed up and introduced a new life-saving, traffic safety initiative. The Yellow Dot program provides first responders with critical information to improve emergency care for persons involved in vehicle crashes. Yellow Dot participants are supplied with a simple, bright yellow decal for their car and a corresponding yellow folder. The decal is placed in the lower left-hand corner of the rear window, driver’s side. The yellow dot signifies there is a folder in the glove compartment containing important medical information about the motorists. Please see Amanda in the office if you would like a Yellow Dot kit.

The Elder Care Journey and Longevity Planning
Presented by Law ElderLaw Saturday April 14th at 2PM
This presentation describes the journey that we embark upon as we age from the healthy, vigorous senior, to fragile senior in need of full time care. The focus is on the misconceptions and confusion about who is going to pay for our care as we grow older and long term care issues arise. Longevity planning discusses how traditional estate planning may be ineffective in protecting assets when a family is hit by a wrecking ball of a long term illness such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s Disease.
